#describes all the R workspaces in ongoing use
legend - variables.r
#lists all the variables used in wage and transitions models, how they were created, which model they were used in
SLID-handleNA-combined-models.r
#contains the data cleaning required and the best models for both wage and transitions as of July 19, 2010. The transitions models have been improved by the models in SLID-handleNA-transitions-xtabs-issues.r.
SLID-handleNA-dataprep.r
#commands for loading the SLID data into R and then cleaning it (additional variables created, non-responses converted to NAs, etc) for the wage model
SLID-handleNA-explore.r
#has code for some descriptive statistics and various other things like robust regression, test for autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity
SLID-handleNA-hours.r
#code for modelling the annual hours worked
SLID-handleNA-splitmodels.r
#the code for the best transitions models as of July 19, 2010 and July 27, 2010. Used for Horowitz calculations to determine whether split or combined models are better.
SLID-handleNA-transitions-xtabs-issues.r
#some variables do not have sufficient observations to meet StatCan's data release threshold (25) and so were eliminated from the regression. This contains the code for the transitions model. These transitions models incorporate SEX99 interaction terms to make the combined models comparable to the respective gender split models. This isn't actually needed due to a misunderstanding of the release criteria.
SLID-handleNA-wages-xtabs-issues.r
#some variables do not have sufficient observations to meet StatCan's data release threshold (25) and so were eliminated from the regression. This contains the code for the wage model. This isn't actually needed due to a misunderstanding of the release criteria.
SLID-handleNA-wages-ttests.r
#contains the code for model runs using all the basic variables (no interactions) for each of the three segments of the wage model to be able to run ttests on the parameter values
SLID-inRDC.R
#code showing early development of wage and hours models
SLID-statetransitions-activity limitations.R
#commands for adding disability information to the SLIDGTA data frame of SLIDtransitions-split.RData and then the transitions model on NiLF
SLID-statetransitions-dataprep.R
#commands for loading the SLID data into R and then cleaning it (additional variables created, non-responses converted to NAs, etc) for the transitions model
SLID-test.R
#contains many fragments of code used at various times in the modelling process for all SLID based models
SLID-transitions-readme.r
#an early attempt at a legend for the transitions model. Shows which original files each variable used for the transitions model comes from.
WES-dataprep.r
#commands for cleaning WES data files. Creates a combined workplace/employee workspace and makes an early attempt at a vacancy rates (turnover/hiring rates) model.
WES-emp-other.r
#commands for more summary statistics using WES workspace created in WES-empprep.r
WES-empprep.r
#commands for cleaning WES employee data files and then some summary statistics
WES-useful.r
#commands for extracting possibly useful information from WES files. Include the dataprep code from WES-empprep.r and WES-wkrprep.r
WES-wkrprep.r
#commands for cleaning WES workplace data files and then some summary statistics
