Abstract: In this rehearsal a global look is presented to the self evaluation process and self-regulation with ends to the accreditation of the Academic Program of Dentistry of the Ability of Health of the University of the Valley, based on the pattern proposed by the National Council of Accreditation (CNA). This model is based on the analysis of seven factors: I Project Institutional, Academic Processes, Students and Professors, Institutional Wellbeing, Organization, Administration and Administration, graduated and impact on the means and Physical and Financial Resources. Based on the documental analyses of the Institution and of the Academic Program and of the different involved groups people (students, professors, directives, personal not educational, graduated and employers), they are necessary the most outstanding aspects that gave the expedition of the accreditation act as a result, by means of resolution 1650 of July 26, 2001, of the Ministry of National Education.
