Abstract: Abstract: This project report emphasizes the importance and challenges of facility location decisions for an efficient and effective movement of products from distributing facilities to the customers. A model formulation for a deterministic facility location problem is developed in order to find the optimal distribution centre locations to minimize the overall costs. Demand uncertainty is then applied to the model to examine how this optimal solution would change as the demand changes.
