Abstract: This project's focus is on the informal and nonformal learning practices of people involved with the Growing Jobs for Living Project (GJOBS) in the Quinte region, located on the north shore of Lake Ontario in Canada. The global and ideational contexts of some of the major socio-environmental changes and problems that have affected the Quinte bioregion were examined.
