This illustration maps data onto a two-dimensional representation of the nest boxes, nest blocks and nesting cavities on a stand; so cavity data, instead of appearing as a list of rows, as in the SOURCE spreadsheets, are more realistically shown as a two-dimensional spatial array with spatial addresses.

Given the locality and the name of the stand bearing the nest boxes, a spatial address involves the position of the nest box on the stand, the position of a stack of nest blocks in a box, the row of the nest block in the stack and the position of the cavity in the nest block. (Older documents may refer to platform, hive box, stack, row and bore.)
