Title: BAR stand, block 218, 4.8 mm cavities. Cavity 1 up is interesting because both the inner Symmorphus cristatus and the outer Osmia coerulescens emerged without apparent losses (probably the outer emerged first). Initially, in cavity 5, the inner Symmorphus nest was cut back and blocked. Ultimately its adults, and their bombyliid parasitoid, penetrated the outer M. rotundata nest, but neither nest survived to emerge.
