Abstract: This paper examines the educational thinking of J. Krishnamurti. It begins with a brief review of his life and then describes his ideas about education. One central goal for both teachers and students is self-knowledge which includes examining one's conditioning. The articles concludes with a brief description of schools founded by Krishnamurti.
