Abstract: Hydatid disease (HD) is a parasitic infection. The most affected organs are the liver and the lungs. Spinal HD is rare and constitutes less than 1 % of all HD. Intradural-extramedullary thoracolumbar hydatid cyst is extremely rare. In this report, we aimed to present the magnetic resonance imaging findings of a rare case of primary isolated intradural-extramedullary HD.
