Abstract: Fragmentos de dois músculos de suínos Landrace, Large White, Duroc e mestiços, foram submetidos a eletroforese em gel de poliacrilamida com SDS , objetivando verificar se haveria um padrão específico para suínos e identificar através dos pesos moleculares, as principais proteínas. Os resultados mostraram que haveria um padrão específico para suínos e permitiram que fossem identificadas as cadeia pesadas e uma das leve de miosina, actina, troponina e a tropomiosina.
