Vachel Lindsay (1879-1931)

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

              1Elizabeth Barrett Browning
              2Sat gossiping with Robert.
3(She was really a raving beauty in her day.
4With Mary Pickford curls in clouds and whirls.)
5She was trying to think of something nice to say,
6So she pointed to a page by her fellow star and sage,
7And said: "I wish that I could write that way!"

Notes
