Susanna Moodie (1803-1885)

My Autograph

1    What -- write my name!
2        How vain the feeble trust,
              3        To be remembered
4    When the hand is dust --
5Grieve rather that the talents freely given
6Were used for earth -- not treasured up for Heaven!
